Zumindest für Matthau Mikojan, um mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen.
Aufgrund der Bemühung und Unterstützung seitens eines deutschen Fans, hat die Band die Chance einem breiteren Publikum zugänglich gemacht zu werden - durch das Newcomer Radio Deutschland in der Sendezeit von 20:00 bis 22:00 Uhr. (Deutsche Ortszeit)

Due to the effort and support of a german fan, the band has the chance to be introduced to a larger listener community through the newcomer radio Germany today local time from 20.00 - 22.00 h.

Sei dabei! - Rock tut gut!

Momentan erreichen einen bei Facebook unzählige Veranstaltungseinladung unterschiedlichster Bands, die unser Interesse geweckt haben, indem sie auf ein grossartiges Wohltätigkeits-Event ganz im Sinne der Vorweihnachtszeit aufmerksam gemacht haben.

Das erste Club Aid wurde im Jahr 2002 ins Leben gerufen. Der Sinn der Veranstaltung ist es, so viel Geld wie möglich für die Kinderklinik Tampere "Tays - Lastenklinikka" zusammen zu bekommen.

In diesem Jahr läge das Ziel bei 10000€, so der Promoter der Veranstaltung, ShowMusic Finland Manager Louie So.

Unter dem Leitspruch "Be there - Rock tekee hyvää!" (zu Deutsch: "Sei dabei - Rock tut gut!") stellen sich mehrere Örtlichkeiten als Gastgeber zur Verfügung.

CLUB AID 2010? BE THERE! - Rock does good!

Now a lot of facebook-invitations arrived through different Finnish bands which caught our attention, introducing a great charity idea in the sign of Pre-Christmas time.
The first Club Aid idea was settled and took place in 2002. It aims to collect as much money as possible for the Tampere children’s clinic “Tays – Lastenklinikka”.
For this year they set the goal to achieve at least 10 000 € for a good cause, said the promoter of the event, ShowMusic Finland’s Office-Manager Louie So.
Under the leitmotif “Be there – Rock tekee hyvää!” (- "Rock does good!”) several different locations will perform as responsible hosts.

Als Vorgeschmack auf das kommende Album, welches sehr wahrscheinlich im Frühjahr 2011 erscheint, wird seit dem 8. November die Single 'Plastic Trays' online verkauft.

Die Veröffentlichung wurde mehr oder weniger überraschend etwa eine Woche vor Erscheinen per Facebook und der Band Homepage (www.matthaumikojan.com) angekündigt.

Recht wenig Bemühung um Promotion könnte der Rückschluss sein.

Also muss die Band, welche derzeit aus Matthau, Simo und Janne besteht, sich beim Verkauf der Single auf Mundpropaganda und die Unterstützung der Fans verlassen.

As a pre-taste of the upcoming album, most likely released in the early spring 2011, the first single "Plastic Trays" was sold online by the 8th of November 2010.
More or less the publication was announced quite surprisingly a week before the exact date via Facebook and Matthau Mikojan's webpage.
A bit too little effort of promotion could be the conclusion. So more or less the band, which currently consists of Matthau, Simo and Janne (aka Jimmy Sindel), has to rely on word of mouth and the support of their fans to keep the selling going.
