Preview: Club Aid 2010

CLUB AID 2010? BE THERE! - Rock does good!

Now a lot of facebook-invitations arrived through different Finnish bands which caught our attention, introducing a great charity idea in the sign of Pre-Christmas time.
The first Club Aid idea was settled and took place in 2002. It aims to collect as much money as possible for the Tampere children’s clinic “Tays – Lastenklinikka”.
For this year they set the goal to achieve at least 10 000 € for a good cause, said the promoter of the event, ShowMusic Finland’s Office-Manager Louie So.
Under the leitmotif “Be there – Rock tekee hyvää!” (- "Rock does good!”) several different locations will perform as responsible hosts.
Those participants are: Jack the Rooster, Klubi, Yo-Talo, Roihu, Kopiopojat, Deluxe Music and Hartwall Jaffa.
All venues out of those institutions will have charity-concerts with a lot of distinct bands from Tampere for different age groups.
From 9^th of December till 16^th of December these artists can be seen on stage in all mentioned premises.
